Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Pro D Electrical website (prodelectrical.com) and the electrical services we provide. By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms in full. If you disagree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.
Pro D Electrical is a trading name operated by Desart, a NAPIT registered and JIB Gold Card qualified electrician based at 116 Ballards Lane, London, N3 2DN.
Our Services
Pro D Electrical provides domestic and commercial electrical services across North and Central London, including but not limited to:
- Consumer unit upgrades and replacements
- Full and partial house rewires
- Lighting design and installation
- Smart home systems
- Electrical inspection and testing (EICR)
- Kitchen and bathroom electrical installations
- Emergency electrical repairs
All work is carried out in accordance with BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations, 18th Edition) and Part P of the Building Regulations.
Quotations and Pricing
All quotations provided by Pro D Electrical are free of charge and valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Quotes are based on the information provided and a visual assessment of the work required. Should additional work be identified during the course of the job, we will inform you and agree any additional costs before proceeding.
Payment terms will be agreed in writing before work begins. For larger projects, staged payments may be required.
Cancellations
If you wish to cancel a booking, please give us at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a call-out charge. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel a contract within 14 days of agreeing to it, provided that work has not yet commenced with your express consent.
Guarantees and Warranties
All work carried out by Pro D Electrical is guaranteed for a minimum of 12 months from the date of completion. This covers workmanship only and does not extend to materials unless covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.
Where applicable, electrical installation certificates, minor works certificates, or electrical installation condition reports will be issued upon completion in accordance with BS 7671.
Compliance and Certification
Pro D Electrical is registered with NAPIT as an approved contractor. All notifiable work is certified and registered with the local building control authority as required under Part P of the Building Regulations. We hold full public liability insurance and are JIB Gold Card qualified.
Liability
Pro D Electrical accepts liability for any damage caused directly by our negligence during the course of our work. Our liability is limited to the cost of rectifying the damage or the value of the contract, whichever is lower.
We are not liable for any pre-existing faults, issues arising from third-party work, or damage caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control. We recommend that you maintain adequate buildings and contents insurance at all times.
Your Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide safe and reasonable access to the areas where work is to be carried out
- Inform us of any known hazards, asbestos, or structural issues
- Ensure that the property is suitable for the agreed work
- Make payment in accordance with the agreed terms
Intellectual Property
All content on the Pro D Electrical website, including text, images, logos, and design, is the property of Pro D Electrical and is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this website without our prior written consent.
Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with the updated date. Continued use of our website or services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
